The difference wasn't so much the quality of the various screens as it was the non-standard adjustment of each display. My theatre sounds good - why should I calibrate it?

You wouldn't think of driving a poorly serviced car with the engine out of tune, the wheels misaligned, and the gearbox clunking. You expect the best performance that your car was designed to deliver. Home Cinema audio is much the same. If you haven't had your system professionally calibrated, it will almost certainly not be performing at its best.

How do we perform an audio calibration?
